Theatre

Every aspect of the theatre design has been carefully considered based on the advice of theatre experts, stakeholder feedback and research of similar theatres across Australia.
Studio
The Studio offers a flexible space for a range of creative pursuits.
The 200-seat space will have retractable seating and be able to be completely blacked out, making it ideal for movie screenings, dance rehearsals and small-scale theatre productions.
The studio is cleverly designed to open up to the outdoor Soundshell and amphitheatre, becoming the stage for major outdoor events and festivals.
Soundshell
Enjoy outdoor events with a bigger, better Soundshell.
The new larger Soundshell opens up from the Studio, links easily to modern back-of-house facilities and looks out across the grassy amphitheatre. Improved access, sightlines and sound will provide a fantastic audience experience during outdoor events and festivals.
Function Centre
Level one has multipurpose spaces for functions, big and small.
The function centre overlooking the parkland is suitable for a variety of events, from cocktail parties and seated celebrations to conferences and meetings. It has access to a bar and amenities, and can be configured into smaller spaces.
These services are supported by a full commercial kitchen and technical spaces.
Creative Spaces
The Creative Spaces feature two studios with wooden sprung floors, natural daylight, access to change facilities and all-gender toilets.
Creative Spaces is ideal for dance, rehearsals, workshops and classes of all varieties.
